Huge camera bump haters beware – Xiaomi is about to take things to a whole new level. Leaked images of the rumored Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra show a massive camera bump. Ordinarily, this might put off users, but there's apparently a very good reason for this over-sized protrusion.

Apparently, Xiaomi is planning on placing a second screen inside the camera bump to mirror the front display. This could end up making the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra the perfect camera phone for selfies.

The Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra has been leaked by YouTuber TECH BUFF PH. In the now-deleted video, close-ups of the large camera bump clearly show a second screen. While there are currently no official specifications for the phone, it's likely to have flagship features.

For instance, the Ultra version of the Xiaomi Mi 11 will probably have the same flagship processor - the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888. The standard Mi 11 also houses three camera modules, one of which is a 120x periscope camera. This makes it pretty likely that the Xiaomi Mi 11 Ultra will have the same 108MP camera in the rear module as well.

In most cases, rear camera modules tend to offer better quality than front-facing cameras. However, because you're usually unable to see yourself, most users will simply use the front-facing camera instead. Incorporating a rear screen into the camera bump will theoretically make it easier to take selfies with the rear camera. The rear screen could also be great news for vloggers looking for better quality video content.

Unfortunately, the key downside of this second screen is that the camera bump is ridiculously huge. The camera bump seems to take up over a quarter of the space on the back of the phone, which may end up putting some users off when they could simply use a front-facing camera instead.
