UPDATE: Details for the hotly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G have been listed on TENAA Certification, which unveils the full specifications of the device and some renders as well. TENAA reveals that the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE 5G will have a 6.4" display with 16M Color Depth, 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution.
It seems that the back of the camera phone will feature a rear camera module with three cameras – a 32MP, 12MP and an 8MP. Meanwhile, there will be a single front-facing 12MP camera.

The TENAA Certification reveals that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G will feature a 4,370mAh battery, while a previous FCC Certification suggested that the handset will have 45W fast charging as well. It also seems that the Galaxy S21 FE 5G will be available in two storage options, 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage and 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.
Other interesting details include a fingerprint sensor placed underneath the display and the high-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 chipset used in China and the US (and the Exynos 2100 chipset used in other regions).
As reported by My Fix Guide (opens in new tab), it's expected that Samsung will be releasing the new Samsung Galaxy S21 FE 5G after the UNPACKED launch of the new Galaxy Z Fold handsets. While there are no official dates at the moment, it's possible that we could see it appear in September (just as the Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (opens in new tab) did last year).
ORIGINAL STORY: The eagerly awaited Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will be the follow-up to last year's Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (opens in new tab), which was particularly well received by both consumers and reviewers alike. The combination of decent specs and an affordable price helped make the handset a success – and it seems that Samsung is looking to repeat this formula with the upcoming Galaxy S21 FE.
After the release of the impressive Samsung Galaxy S21 (opens in new tab), Galaxy S21 Plus (opens in new tab) and Galaxy S21 Ultra (opens in new tab) earlier this year, consumers will have to wait until the second half of 2021 to see any more handsets arrive. We'll apparently be seeing the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3 arrive around July, but we'll have to wait until August for the Galaxy S21 FE.
With the expected release still a few months away, concrete information on the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is scarce. However, graphic designer Jermaine Smit (also known as Concept Creator (opens in new tab)) has worked together with LetsGoDigital (opens in new tab) to create a series of product renders for this upcoming camera phone.
The Samsung Galaxy S21 FE is set to include a slightly smaller screen size than the previous S20 FE. Apparently, it will be a 6.4" AMOLED display, rather than 6.5". LetsGoDigital also speculates that the S21 FE will feature a 120Hz refresh rate as well.
In terms of cameras, LetsGoDigital thinks it likely that the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE will have a 32MP selfie camera, just like the previous S20 FE did. Meanwhile the S21 FE could be powered by the Exynos 2100 chip (or Qualcomm Snapdragon 888, depending on what region the user is in).
It'll be a while until we see the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE officially unveiled – but we're sure that we'll see plenty of rumors and leaks before August arrives.
