Excited Jason Momoa drops the 'F-bomb' when he receives two custom-made all-brass Nikon ZR cameras!
Aquaman trades the Trident of Atlan for a stunning pair of customized Nikon mirrorless cameras
If you needed any convincing that the Nikon ZR is as cool as it gets, this video of Aquaman himself getting a pair of all-brass Nikon ZR bodies from Nikon USA should do it. But far from a freebie, Jason Momoa will be earning his keep, using the ultra-portable cinema cameras on the road when filming the next season of his HBO Max Original documentary series On the Roam.
In a video posted on Momoa’s Instagram (@prideofgypsies), the actor and filmmaker can be seen opening a hard case to reveal the pair of custom-made bodies, and he can hardly contain his excitement, dropping a couple of expletives along the way: “These are amazing. Holy s**t,” he says, before adding “that is f*****g epic.”
A close-up of the cameras reveals that beyond the solid brass bodies, the rear of each camera’s LCD screen is etched with the same design as the compass tattoo on Momoa’s forearm. The Game of Thrones actor also comments on the cameras’ weight, owing to the solid-brass design.
But that’s not all; Momoa is also presented with a solid-brass cage from Tilta. This makes for a striking combination and will, of course, serve a very practical purpose when the cameras are rigged up for filming.
