Amazon Prime Day is Amazon's own answer to having another Black Friday during the year - and usually taking place over two days in July.
We are now expecting Amazon Prime Day 2019 to start on Monday 15 July 2019 - thanks to a leak discovered by our colleagues over at Real Homes. If history repeats itself, this will start at midday, and run for 36 hours (although there are rumors that this time the sale may stretch out for 48 hours).
Last year Amazon says that it sold 100 million items on the 36 hours of the Amazon Prime Day sale... that's billions of dollars in sales. And the important thing is that can be a great way of getting a great camera deal.
And it is not just cameras... there are deals on all kinds of photographic accessories. Deals on memory cards, lenses, portable hard drives, drones, security cameras, doorbell cameras will also be found - and we will be bringing you news of the best Amazon Prime Day deals as we find them.
Stay tuned... we will bring you more details as and when we get them.

Get 30 days of Amazon Prime for free
Most of these are from the retail giant itself, and for these you'll need a Prime membership. (See right – you can take advantage of Prime day with a free 30-day trial if you don't want to fork out for full membership. As long as you cancel within the trial period there are no strings attached.)
But some bargains can be snapped up elsewhere, and we will scoop them all up in this list. We expect that Walmart and other will also want a slice of the Amazon Prime Day action, and have some of their own deals on offer to match or beat Amazon.
Here, we've rounded up the best camera deals we've found and details on how to get each one. We kick off with the best US-based camera deals right now – and you'll find the best UK-based camera deals below...
