New rumored specifications for the Sony A7R V have been leaked, giving Sony camera fans much to discuss in the wait for the upcoming camera. With the previous Sony A7R IV due to celebrate its second birthday in September, we're not surprised to see specs begin to leak for its replacement. However, we wouldn't expect to see the Sony A7R V until 2022 – so we'd recommend taking these new leaks with a pinch of salt.

We'd previously heard rumors that the Sony A7R V would feature a whopping 102MP sensor. However this gigantic figure seems to have quietly slipped away in the latest reports. Instead, rumors suggest that the Sony A7R V will feature a 61MP Exmor R sensor with an accompanying BIONZ XR processor.
