Rumors about the Google Pixel 5 have been growing more frequent recently, which is usually a sign that a smartphone is gearing up for a launch. This seems to be the case for the Google Pixel 5, as some rumors are pointing towards this latest Google phone launching on 15 October.

This comes alongside news that the long-awaited Google Pixel 4a 5G is due to be announced at the same event. Both phones are rumored to have Snapdragon 765G chipsets and a similar camera setup as well.

Apparently, the Google Pixel 5 will have a 90Hz 6.0" 1080p+ display. According to phone news website GSMArena, it's also like to have more RAM and storage as well as a better chassis than its 4a counterpart. The Google Pixel 5 is also rumored to be coming in a new attractive color called 'Sage Green'.

However, the Google Pixel 5 will reportedly cost $700, while the Google Pixel 4a 5G will only cost $500. It'll be interesting to see how Google will justify the $200 price hike when there are so many core similarities between these two upcoming smartphones.
