Australians will have a chance to get an expert walkthrough of one of the best photo editing programs on the market next week, courtesy of Singapore-based professional photographer and digital artist Mezame.

Mezame is a widely recognised Capture One master, and uses the Lightroom rival to edit and manage his workflow. He’s also going to be the keynote speaker at a webinar hosted by the Australian Institute of Professional Photography’s (AIPP) NSW Council on Tuesday, October 27. He’ll be discussing his work as a commercial photographer in Singapore, and how he incorporates Capture One into his workflow – shooting tethered, editing with the software, managing high volumes of images.

The webinar will focus on Capture One’s ease of use, including how simple it is to migrate catalogues from other systems. So if you’re considering a change or looking for new ways to get more from your images, this online seminar will give you a deep dive into the power of Capture One.

A huge incentive for signing up for this webinar is that you can submit some of your images to get help or advice on how to use Capture One to suit your specific needs from Mezame himself. Only registered attendees can submit images by emailing the original (or RAW) files to Please ensure you mention the details of your camera system as well.

(It should be noted that if there’s a large number of submissions, Mezame may not have time to go through all of them during the session, but it’s definitely worth submitting an image or two.)

Another major incentive to attend the webinar is that registered attendees will receive an exclusive discount code to purchase Capture One, thanks to Australian photo giant CR Kennedy & Co’s online store
