Like the AF-S NIKKOR 400mm f/2.8E, this new Nikon teleconverter is aimed at sports, press, and wildlife photographers.
Nikon claims an electromagnetic aperture maximises exposure accuracy with compatible lenses.
The Nikon AF-S TELECONVERTER TC-14E III price tag will be £449.99 / €539.00 from its 28 August release date.
