    Hands-on Nikon 1 AW1 review: Nikon has announced the world’s first waterproof interchangeable lens camera, the Nikon 1 AW1. In our hands-on review video we ‘look under the hood’ at how it was designed and what other features it has to offer.

    Whilst many manufactures have produced weather sealed cameras, Nikon has taken the outdoor rugged theme a leap forward and produced the Nikon 1 AW1.

    Whilst it might bare more than a passing similarity to the rest of the Nikon 1 range the AW1 is the first interchangeable lens camera to be fully waterproof, not only this but you can freeze it down to temperatures of -10 and you’d expect it can shake off dust and withstand a knock or two.

    Here Amy Davies of our testing team takes a look at what the camera has to offer, and discovers a camera with a truly rugged feel.
