Nikon announced the return of the Nikon Tour back in May, complete with stops across ten US cities, and it’s just announced the second leg of the road trip, whereby the distinctive yellow Nikon SUV will be stopping off at the remaining five cities: Dallas, Nashville, Baltimore/Washington DC, Philadelphia, and Boston.
Nikon Tour 2026 dates (second leg):
- Dallas: Sept 25–27
- Nashville: Oct 2–4
- Baltimore/Washington DC: Oct 23–25
- Philadelphia: Oct 30–Nov 1
- Boston: Nov 6–8
The grand tour
Thus far, the Nikon Tour has attracted 1,300 attendees, providing an opportunity to get hands-on with the latest Nikon kit, partake in photography workshops, and connect with both Nikon Ambassadors and like-minded photographers, filmmakers, and creatives.
The best thing about the Nikon Tour is that all of this is entirely free. For the first time, Nikon has scheduled specific programming days: Intro to Photography, Nikkor Z Lens Day and ZR Day, catering to beginners, enthusiast photographers and video creators, respectively.
According to Kristen Pritchett, Nikon’s marketing events and experiential manager: “The first half of the Nikon Tour was incredibly successful in bringing our community together and providing meaningful ways for creators of all levels to connect, learn and experience Nikon gear firsthand”.
Nikon is also partnering with SanDisk, enabling attendees to use the brand’s CFexpress cards on Nikon ZR Days, with content then being uploaded to the cloud. There will also be the opportunity to partake in SanDisk giveaways at select Nikon Tour events.
The second leg of the Nikon Tour will begin on September 25 at the Dallas Arboretum and Botanical Garden, with Nikon Creator Danny Batista. Future tour dates will also include Nikon Ambassadors Brandon Woelfel and Mike Mezeul, as well as Nikon Creator Rick Southers.
