UPDATE: At the end of last month we announced that Fujifilm would be increasing its prices due to the cost of raw materials and transportation prices soaring. The price increases came into play on 01 April despite Fujifilm working hard to try to absorb the extra costs.

While some products were expected to soar by a whopping 164%, we can now confirm that Fujifilm North America Corporation increased prices by approximately 25%, and plans to carry on evaluating the price of equipment on a case-by-case basis. Retailers in the Japanese market are likely to see a much higher price increase ranging from 20-60% for film and photographic paper and chemicals will increase by 10-20%
