Canon EOS 200D/Rebel SL2 lab tests

We tested the Canon against three of its key rivals, the Fujifilm X-T20, Nikon D5600 and Olympus OM-D E-M10 Mark II

Colour error: The 200D does a good job of faithfully capturing colour, but the Nikon D5600’s accuracy is tough to beat.

Raw signal to noise ratio: Canon’s 24.2MP sensor generates clean images that compare well to the Olympus at lower sensitivities, but Fujifilm is still top dog for controlling noise.

Raw dynamic range: It’s a similar story here, with the EOS 200D doing well up to ISO 800, whereas the mirrorless competition manages a less pronounced fall-off.
