UPDATE 01/09: The Samsung Galaxy M51 has been officially launched on the Samsung Germany website, complete with the rumored 7,000 mAh battery. However, the incredible amount of power (more than two days worth of power on a single charge!) isn't the only exciting aspect of the M51's battery – it also offers support for 25W fast charging.

Other official specs for the Samsung Galaxy M51 include an octa-core processor with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of expandable storage. The M51 will also house a Snapdragon 730 chipset and a 6.7" Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a side-mounted fingerprint reader.

In terms of the Samsung Galaxy M51's camera capabilities, there will be a quad camera unit on the back of the phone with a 64MP main camera,  12MP ultra wide camera, a 5MP macro camera and a 5MP time-of-flight camera. On the front of the phone there is a 32MP front-facing selfie camera.

You can currently pre-order the Samsung Galaxy M51 on the German website for €360 in either black or white and shipping will begin on 11 September. As of yet, there's no news on when we'll be seeing the Samsung Galaxy M51 in other regions.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 is due to be announced soon, but we've been seeing consistent leaks about this upcoming smartphone for a few months now. However, the latest rumor is particularly interesting. Apparently the Samsung Galaxy M51 will house a battery with a capacity of an incredible 7,000 mAh. Just for context, the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a capacity of only 3969 mAh…

A 7,000 mAh battery would be the most powerful battery ever put into a smartphone, which is certainly impressive. While the amount of time a battery lasts for is dependent on how the device is used, a 7,000 mAh battery could potentially last for around four whole days without needing additional charging.

However, this isn't the only exciting piece of information on the Samsung Galaxy M51 that's recently leaked. Apparently, the M51 will also come with the Snapdragon 730 chipset, which is 5G-capable.

In terms of the camera, the Samsung Galaxy M51 will apparently have a 64MP main camera on the back, plus another two additional cameras (although the details of these haven't been leaked yet). On the top left hand corner of the front of the phone will be a selfie camera, but there also isn't any information on the megapixels this front-facing camera would be packing.

The Samsung Galaxy M51 will apparently have a flat 6.67" panel with Full HD+ resolution. It's also said (via GSMArena) to have 8GB of RAM and 25W charging support.

Apparently, the Samsung Galaxy M51 is expected to debut in India, but there has also been a support page appear for it on the Samsung Russia website. This could potentially mean that the Galaxy M51 could see a global release. However, we'll have to wait for the official announcement for more concrete details.
