The Honor Magic 6 Pro launched internationally in late February, and now it’s back with a fresh new look from the talented folks at Porsche Design. We gave the Magic 6 Pro a thorough testing when it launched, and if all that had changed here was the looks, we wouldn’t have very much to talk about. Thankfully, that’s not the case, and there’s plenty to explore with the RSR.

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra

Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra
The Galaxy S24 Ultra is the defacto choice of big-screen ultra-premium Android phone, and for good reason. It’s an excellent all-rounder and goes toe-to-toe with the Magic 6 RSR in every area. I prefer the photos from the Honor at lower zoom levels, but the S24 Ultra is much more impressive at longer focal lengths.

iPhone 15 Pro Max
If you’re open to the idea of an Apple device, the 15 Pro Max is well worth considering. The 1TB model costs the exact same as the Magic 6 RSR, and while the camera specs are less impressive on paper, the iPhone’s results speak for themselves - especially in video recording.
