Pergear has recent announced the new Pergear 12mm f/2 lens, a manual focus APS-C mirrorless lens designed for mounts including Sony E mount, Fujifilm XF mount, Micro Four Thirds mount and Nikon Z mount. This 12mm lens has a full frame equivalent focal length of 18mm, making it perfect for capturing wide angle landscapes, cityscapes and more.

The Pergear 12mm f/2 features 12 elements in nine groups and has an aperture range of f/2 to f/22. Meanwhile, the aperture element has 10 diaphragm blades for pleasing bokeh.

For those looking for a lightweight option, the Pergear 12mm f/2 lens only weighs 300g, despite its metal body. This means that it's small and light enough to be easily chucked into a kitbag to be used if needed. Meanwhile, its brass lens mount and chromed copper mount design means that the mount is resistant to abrasion and corrosion, helping to protect your lens as its used over the years.

While the Pergear 12mm f/2 doesn't have autofocus capabilities (which will be why you can pick it up for only $165), it does have two aspherical elements and two low wave high refractive elements. These elements are designed to improve contrast and color rendering in a variety of lighting conditions. Meanwhile, the Pergear 12mm f/2 has a UMC filter that's designed to reduce flare and ghosting.

If you're interested in picking up a super affordable ultra wide APS-C mirrorless lens, you can find the Pergear 12mm f/2 at Amazon US and Amazon UK – or on Pergear's official website.
