Fully dedicated for use with most cameras, the Phottix kit comprises an RF transmitter and receiver that have a range of 150m.
Along with using four different operating channels, buying additional receivers means you can also assign four separate groups of flashguns.
The transmitter has a row of four buttons at its rear for switching each of the flashgun groups on and off independently.
Two-stage release buttons are fitted to both the transmitter and receiver, and three cables are supplied for remote control connection to all compatible cameras.
PC sync and studio flash head cables are also included as part of the kit.
Pros… Two-stage release buttons, support for separate groups of flashguns.
Cons… iTTL flash is only available when the flashgun is mounted on the camera.
WE say… A generous operating range and some clever features.
