Best Wireless Flash Trigger: 02 Interfit Strobies iSync 4 Trigger Receiver Set
Price: £50, $60
Buy it: www.interfitphotographic.com
A little basic in some respects, the iSync 4 lacks any dedicated functions for specific cameras or flashguns, and it only has a wireless range of about 30m.
On the plus side, the transmitter and receiver both feature PC terminals and connection cables are supplied for use with a studio flash head.
This is in addition to the hotshoe on the receiver for fitting a flashgun.
You can buy extra receivers for the kit, which can be triggered by wireless radio frequency or from a pulse of light from other flashguns or studio heads.
There’s a switch on the side for selecting either option.
Pros… Both optical and RF triggering, good for flashguns and studio flash heads.
Cons… No dedicated functions, can’t be used to operate the camera remotely.
WE say… Build quality is basic and it lacks dedicated features.
