The announcement of the Nikon Z fc was met with a lively buzz of excitement – in fact, it was so lively that Nikon Japan has recently issued a notice advising that this retro-inspired camera will be delayed due to the unexpectedly high number of pre-orders. Nikon has also announced that the accompanying Nikkor Z 28mm f/2.8 lens is delayed as well.

If you've already pre-ordered your own Nikon Z fc, there's a chance you should still receive it when the first batch ships out on 23 July. However, if you've been holding off on clicking the Order button, then it may "take some time" before you finally have the Nikon Z fc in your hands.
