Today is World Photography Day 2020, a day that's all about celebrating and sharing photography. And British retailer Cartridge People has combined both aspects, commemorating the day by giving away a GoPro Hero8 Black camera bundle.

The theme of the competition is 'Wanderlust' – a strong desire to travel and explore – something that we're all feeling very strongly as we emerge out of lockdown! And there's perhaps no better camera that represents the sentiment than the GoPro Hero8 Black (opens in new tab), one of the best travel cameras (opens in new tab) for adventuring, making it the perfect prize for the competition.

• What is World Photography Day (opens in new tab)?

Cartridge People wants you to reignite your excitement for exploration again by sharing your best photographs taken in the great outdoors. Relaxed weekend nature walks, adrenaline-fueled mountain hikes, glass-watered golden beaches, serene scenery, wonderful wildlife images – anything photographed outside is fair game!

The winning photographer will win a GoPro Hero8 Black Bundle, which carries a £429.99 price tag, featuring the camera, Shorty grip, Head Strap, a 32GB memory card along with a spare battery.

Full entry details can be found on the Cartridge People competition page (opens in new tab), where you can also submit your entries. But to really get into the spirit of World Photography Day, post your photos on Instagram, Facebook or Twitter (and make sure you're following Cartridge People!) with the #WorldPhotoDay hashtag and make sure to tag @CartridgePeople on your post.

You can enter as many times as you want, so liven up your social media feed and share as many photographs as you like – after all, that's what today is all about! The contest runs until 31 August 2020, and the winner will be contacted and announced on the Cartridge People competition page on Tuesday 01 September 2020.
