Black Friday and Cyber Monday bring a whole load of amazing deals, but somehow we need to make sense of what's on offer and pick out the really outstanding offers that no photographer will want to miss.

It's not just about saving money. There are plenty of cameras going cheap that ought to be! But there are lots more that are just instant classics that maybe didn't come out this year, or even the year before, but still have what it takes – and at prices which make them incredible value.

So here's our list of the top ten Cyber Monday camera deals we've seen. These are just great, great cameras at their lowest ever prices. They are here on merit, not just on value, and they include cameras that maybe you thought you could never afford.

2. Canon EOS RP and RF 24-105mm F4-7.1 IS STM

Just incredible. Let's do a quick fact-check. This is not 'last year's' model –  this is a current camera. It's also a full frame camera at APC camera prices. It has a compact body, full-articulating rear screen and comes with a 24-105mm kit lens, for heaven's sake. The EOS RP is not technically advanced, but it is an extremely competent, extremely likeable little camera that opens the door to Canon's new and exciting EOS R mirrorless system.

4. Olympus OM-D EM10 Mark IV with 14-42mm

In all its versions, the OM-D E-M10 has been amongst our favorite small mirrorless cameras for beginners and bloggers, and especially for travel photography, where its 14-42mm 'pancake' zoom is a real boon. This latest version gets Olympus's newest 20MP Micro Four Thirds sensor, and while the Olympus brand has had its troubles recently, its cameras are still amongst the best.

5. Olympus OM-D E-M1 Mark II body only

We're adding a second Olympus camera to this list and making no apologies for it. 6. Nikon Z5 with 24-50mm lens

The Z5 has a really nice body design and layout, and a super-slick retracting 24-50mm kit lens that's short on maximum focal length but produces a super-compact camera-lens combination. 7. Canon EOS M6 Mark II with 15-45mm lens and EVF

The EOS M6 Mark II has been a bit of a slow burner. It looked expensive when it came out and even a viewfinder was extra, but prices have fallen, this deal and others bundle in the matching clip-on EVF, and no other APS-C camera can match its 32.5MP resolution. 8. Canon EOS 6D Mark II body only

Canon has a knack for producing low-cost user-friendly cameras which are really well designed and nice to use – and it has excelled itself with the EOS 6D Mark II.
