The Photography Show & The Video Show Virtual Festival is set to go live on 20 and 21 September – and there's plenty of exciting talks and live kit demos to look forward to. In absence of the usual trip to Birmingham, there will be a virtual festival complete with over 120 exhibitors and over 170 free talks over the Sunday and Monday.
One of the sessions we're most looking forward to in the Analogue Spotlight is from Kosmo Foto, a boutique British brand who's delivering a beginner's guide to Soviet cameras. Vintage Soviet cameras – and the vintage lenses that go with them – are becoming increasingly popular and are a fantastic way to get back to basics and think outside of the box.
The Analogue Spotlight will also feature an interesting look behind the scenes of Bill Manning's 'Embrace the grain' film photography podcast. You can catch all of the exciting film photography-focused sessions at The Photography Show & The Video Show Virtual Festival.
