Amazon Prime Day 2019 is coming up soon for its annual monster online sale – which is packed full of great Prime Day camera deals, plus bargains on other photo-related gear including camcorders, dash cams, tripods, and memory cards.
But until this morning we couldn't be certain exactly when the Amazon Prime Day 2019 sale is going to start - our best guess was just a Monday in early July like in previous years. However, it just looks like the precise date has just been leaked accidentally weeks before the event – so it looks like we can pencil in Monday 15 July in our diaries

The leak, which is originally reported on by Real Homes, stems from an email from a public relations firm about an Amazon "Deal of the Day" for a vacuum cleaner that is set to go live on "July 16" this year with a mega discount.
We can't guarantee that this is the actual date - but this does tally with what we expected. We also don't know how long the sale lasts for - but last year it was 36 hours, and we reckon that this year it will be at least that long.
