With Amazon Prime Day officially being over, you might be tempted to end your Prime membership – especially if you took out a free trial to take advantage of the discounts solely available to Prime members. However, there are still plenty of benefits that you can squeeze out of Prime before you hit that cancel button (and who knows, you might even decide to keep the service!).

We've rounded up the top five benefits that Amazon Prime members can take advantage of, from free one-day shipping to being able to store all of your photos on Amazon's  Amazon Photos cloud service.

What to do before you cancel Amazon Prime

1. Listen to Amazon Music

Your Prime membership includes two million songs ad-free, so take advantage of your remaining membership to listen to your favorite tunes. If you then decide that you want to upgrade, you can pay £7.99/mo for Amazon Music Unlimited to access tens of millions of songs ad-free.

2. Store your photos on Amazon Photos

Admittedly, you would probably want to commit to keeping your Prime membership before going through the effort of uploading your images to Amazon Photos. However, unlimited photo storage is nothing to sniff at – especially when it's bundled together with loads of other great services too. If you haven't signed up to any of the other best cloud storage services and you regularly order from Amazon, you might want to consider keeping your subscription.

3. Bulk buy your essentials

With unlimited one-day and same-day delivery available (depending on your region), it's well worth stocking up on your essential supplies before cancelling your Prime membership. Whether you need kitchen cleaner or instant film, free delivery is always a bonus!

4. Watch your favorite movies on Prime Video

With thousands of movies and TV shows available (including exclusive Amazon Originals), it's well worth taking a scroll through the options available on Prime Video before you cancel your membership.

5. Read a new book

Prime Reading gives users unlimited access to over a thousand eBooks, popular magazines, comics, books with Audible narration and more. Take advantage of this reading opportunity before you press the cancel button on your membership.
