Smart security cameras like Ring doorbells make many aspects of life feel safer, like recieving deliveries from shopping online. My wife and I even caught a porch pirate with one.
We (my wife and I) use a lot of security cameras in our home to keep our family safer. We both find it reassuring to be able to check on the house when we're out – or even see if our partner is having a nap so you don't need to worry if your messages are going unanswered.
Some people might think of it as an invasion of privacy, but you can control this. I know apps can be irritating, but it's usually as simple as closing a door over the lens.
Amazon have some amazing deals – especially on their two big brands, Ring and Blink – meaning there is no better time to try the experience for yourself.
Personally I think like this – it's a great technology, but the entry price can seem high. During Amazon Prime Deals, however, that seems rather less true, so I've picked some bundles out that I think are a great way to get started, as well as some other good value deals.
My other tip? Pick one brand and stick with it so you only need one app for all your cameras. Me? I use Ring. But that's just me,
