If you travelled back in time and asked your January 2020 self what you'd be looking forward to shooting when the spring sunshine finally arrived, we're sure that indoors still life photography wasn't at the top of your list. However, unprecedented times means that any thoughts of outdoor shoots will have to be put on hold for now. However, that doesn't mean that you can't still get creative! We've put together a list of our favorite still life photographers to help you find inspiration even in these peculiarly trying (and just downright peculiar) times.

Whether you're looking to experiment with some quirky still life photography techniques, or try something a little more classic and refined, there are plenty of photographers here that will keep you entertained and inspired.

Louise Carey

With over a decade of photographic experience, Louise arms Digital Camera World with a wealth of knowledge on photographic technique and know-how – something at which she is so adept that she's delivered workshops for the likes of ITV and Sue Ryder. Louise also brings years of experience as both a web and print journalist, having served as features editor for Practical Photography magazine and contributing photography tutorials and camera analysis to titles including Digital Camera Magazine and  Digital Photographer. Louise currently shoots with the Fujifilm X-T200 and the Nikon D800, capturing self-portraits and still life images, and is DCW's ecommerce editor, meaning that she knows good camera, lens and laptop deals when she sees them.
