Sigma shows the Burst Mode studio the compact power of the Sigma fp

While The Photography Show may have been postponed, you can still see all of the amazing gear you were looking forward to – but now you can do it from the comfort of your own sofa! Sigma came to The Photography Show's Burst Mode studio to show off some of the gear that Sigma are excited about this year, including the Sigma fp, the new Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN lens, and a delightful trio of lenses designed for the Canon EF-M mount.

The Sigma fp is the smallest and lightest full frame mirrorless camera on the market, designed for both stills photographers and cine filmmakers. It's also the first Sigma camera to incorporate a Bayer sensor into its design.

Capable of 12-bit 4K RAW video, the Sigma fp has proved popular with filmmakers, who are a fan of its compact size and high quality output. The Sigma fp's box-like design means that you can easily build on it with lenses, microphones, rigs and more.

However, the Sigma fp wasn't the only exciting product Sigma brought to the Burst Mode studio. Sigma also brought three Canon EF-M mount lenses for us to peruse, including the 16mm (equivalent to 24mm on a full frame sensor), 30mm (45mm) and 56mm (85mm).

These staple primes are fantastic additions to the Canon EOS-M line-up, and will be the perfect partner for many Canon EOS-M users. Even more excitingly, these three primes all come with an f/1.4 maximum aperture, which is perfect for achieving smooth bokeh on an APS-C-sized sensor.

And last, but certainly not least, the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN lens for Sony E-mount and L-mount (which includes Sigma, Panasonic and Leica cameras) was also on show.

The Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN is designed specifically for full frame mirrorless photographers who enjoy shooting landscapes, interiors and astro photography. This lens is actually the mirrorless brother of the Sigma 14-24mm f/2.8 DG HSM for full frame DSLR users. However, the 14-24mm f/2.8 DG DN is not only slimmer than its DSLR counterpart – it's also shaved a healthy 300g off as well!
