The Photography & Video Show 2024 is open now!

The Photography & Video Show has returned to the UK's National Exhibition Centre in Birmingham and is open until Tuesday.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary (I was there for the first one in 2014!), The Photography & Video Show is an in-person imaging extravaganza. First launched in 2014, it has become a must-attend event for photographers and videographers of all experience levels, from eager enthusiasts to practising professionals.

Over 200 of the biggest brands in the business will be exhibiting at the show, including Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, Panasonic and Sigma, enabling you to chat to industry experts, watch kit demonstrations, attend masterclasses, and take advantage of exclusive show discounts where you can make serious savings.

Over 200 of the imaging industry's key brands are exhibiting at the show, so you're sure to come away inspired, educated and excited about taking all aspects of your photography, videography and editing to the next level.

Manufacturers like Canon, Sony, Nikon, Fujifilm, OM System, Panasonic and Insta360 will have their latest cameras on show. Lens specialists such as Sigma, Sirui, Tamron and Irix will be showcasing their best optics. And Ilford, Alfie Cameras and Solarcam share the passion and uniqueness of analogue shooting.

Shoot to inspire
NEW for 2024! The different sets on this stage will be used to demonstrate various photography and filmmaking topics - including travel, portraits, weddings, and street.

Creator stage
This programme is dedicated to online content creation - YouTube, Instagram, TikTok and more. Aimed at existing and budding creators, as well as photo and video pros looking to boost their business via social channels, this stage will offer talks on everything from online community building to getting started in vlogging.

Photo studio
With live action and practical demos, this stage is ideal for showing first-hand how to tackle various shoots, and giving advice and tips on areas such as working with models, lighting, and capturing movement.

In motion studio
A theatre for all things moving image, designed to offer insight into producing engaging content, storytelling, and creating projects using different video and filmmaking techniques.

Editing & Post-Production Suite
Seminars covering post-production techniques and workflow for photography and video across various editing software solutions. 

Analogue showcase
A celebration of the art of traditional film photography and the darkroom.

The Photography & Video Show 2024: Speakers

There are some incredible names already announced for this year's show, covering every aspect of imaging, with plenty more yet to come.

Professional photographers and videographers from all specialisms will be there, such as Getty Images' Royal photographer, Chris Jackson; celebrity photographer and Forbes' "100 Successful Women of 2023" honoree, Donatella Nicolini; senior video innovation journalist at BBC News, Dougal Shaw; curator of photography for the National Trust, Anna Sparham; and Photoshop expert and educator, Scott Kelby.

There are also plenty of brand ambassadors, including Tom Mason (Nikon), Gavin Hoey (OM System) and Bea Lubas (Adobe), along with talented shooters who have struck out on YouTube like Sean Tucker, Thomas Heaton Adventuring Beth and Evan Edinger.
