Digital Camera World Verdict

The SanDisk Professional Pro-Blade Transport delivers blazingly fast data transfer so you’re not kept waiting too long when you download your images. That speed also means that it’s suitable for use as a working drive when editing 4K. The interchangeable Pro-Blade SSD Mags hike the price, but they can be partnered with the yet-to-come SanDisk Pro-Blade Station to enable up to four drives to be connected to a computer via one USB-C cable.

SanDisk is one of the most widely-known names in digital storage. It offers a wide range of memory cards, flash drives, hard drives and solid state storage drives (SSD) with options to suit consumers, enthusiast photographers and professional content creators, photographers and videographers.

The Pro-Blade Transport and Pro-Blade SSD Mag were announced in May 2022, along with the Pro-Blade Station, as a modular SSD system. While the Pro-Blade Transport can hold a single Pro-Blade SSD Mag and is intended for use on the go, the Pro-Blade Station can hold up to four Mags and is designed for desktop use.
