ORIGINAL STORY:

Two new Sony cameras have recently passed FCC certification, which means we could be seeing them hit the market soon. One of these cameras is rumored to be the hotly anticipated Sony A7 IV, while the other looks to be a high end pro Sony camera that will apparently be capable of shooting 8K video without overheating.

Other potential specs for this high end Sony camera include a 9.44m dot EVF (electronic viewfinder) and a newly developed sensor – although there's no indication on how many megapixels this new sensor will house. This pro camera will also include dual card slots and IBIS (in-body image stabilization) with Steady Shot active mode.

Apparently, this new high end Sony camera will retail for around $5,999, which is about a couple of grand more expensive than the new Canon EOS R5 and a comparable price point to the Fujifilm GFX 50S. However, according to Photo Rumors, everything about this camera will be brand new.

The second Sony camera is rumored to be the upcoming Sony A7 IV, which will apparently have a slightly bigger and 'more comfortable' body than the A7 III. Meanwhile, it'll have a 3.68m dot EVF, a 1.44m dot LCD screen and a newly developed 30MP sensor. Other rumors include that the Sony A7 IV will be able to record 4K 60p video without overheating and it'll have Dual SD and CFExpress Type A card slots.

We're expecting the Sony A7 IV to include the new menu system from the Sony A7S III, include 5-axis in-body image stabilization and to retail for around $2,499. However, we won't know anything for sure until official details are announced by Sony.
