How to network with photographers when you're a beginner

When you first cut your teeth as a photographer, it can be tempting to fixate on the technical aspects of the job. And while camera settings and light techniques are important, if you're planning on earning a steady income from your camera, then it's vital to learn about the business side of being a professional photographer as well.

Knowing how to develop meaningful relationships within the industry can be of vital importance – even if you don't see an initial and obvious reason to do so. You never know when someone might get back in touch with a potential opportunity, so learning how to network is a great way to help set yourself up as a pro.
