We have just spotted this amazing deal on this DJI action camera. The Osmo Action 3 was launched in autumn 2022, and has recently been upgraded with the introduction of the Osmo Action 5 Pro (and the Action 4 before that). But the price of the older model has fallen to just £199 at Drones Direct - making this a real bargain for a waterproof mini video camera.

DJI Osmo Action 3 Adventure Combo: was £259 now £179 at Drones Direct

This 2022-vintage action camera offers 4K shooting in vertical or horizontal formats - and benefits from a front-facing screen. With its successor now on sale, this is a great bargain price for a former flagship model. This bundle comes with three batteries.

The Action 3 is waterproof down to depths of 16m, without the need for an underwater housing, can keep working at -20°C, and can be dropped from a height of 1.5m we are told.

The 12MP sensor can record 4K footage at up to 60fps - and for slow-motion fans, it can shoot at 240fps at 1080p. A quick-release design allows it to be switched from landscape to vertical video format at speed. For FPV action sequences and vlogging, the Action 3 offers a touch-sensitive LCD at the front as well as the rear - so you can ensure you stay in the frame.
