Canon is extending its Test Drive programme over the festive season, offering customers the opportunity to try a camera completely free for 12 days over the Christmas period.
So if you've been itching to try out 8K on the Canon EOS R5 (opens in new tab), the otherworldly autofocus on the Canon EOS R6 (opens in new tab), the robustness of the Canon EOS 5D Mark IV (opens in new tab) or the 32.5MP pocket powerhouse Canon EOS M6 Mark II (opens in new tab), now's the perfect time to take advantage of Canon's free 12 Days of Christmas Test Drive.
Canon's Test Drive scheme is usually a 48-hour affair, enabling customers to try out a camera for two days. However, if you book your test drive for delivery on 22 December it won't be collected until 03 January, giving you a full 12 days of Christmas to enjoy your kit.
The 12-day test includes free nationwide delivery and collection. Book your test drive here (opens in new tab) and the discount will be applied automatically – though obviously you'd be wise to get your booking in early, as plenty of people will be taking advantage of this offer.
Canon's standard free 48-hour Test Drive is still available for all orders after (or before) the festive break, so you can still get hands-on with some great Canon kit even if you can't take advantage of this particular promotion.
It's a great way to have a trial run with a new camera you're thinking about, before you take the plunge on a purchase – and it's nice to spoil yourself with a mini Christmas present to play with, even if you don't get to keep it!
