Swarovski Optik has announced a new lightweight spotting scope aimed squarely at birdwatchers and wildlife enthusiasts: the AT Endura 21-65x75 combines a large 75mm objective lens with a surprisingly portable 1,510g design.
Launching worldwide on October 6, 2026, with prices starting from $2,899 / £2,070, the AT Endura becomes one of the more accessible routes into Swarovski Optik’s premium spotting scope range. Despite the lower price point, the company says it has retained the optical quality and rugged construction its scopes are known for.
For me, one of the most interesting things about the AT Endura is its weight. At just 1,510g, Swarovski Optik claims it is the lightest spotting scope in its class, which could make a considerable difference if you regularly carry your optics for several hours at a time. Birdwatchers in particular will know that even relatively small weight savings start to become very noticeable towards the end of a long day in the field.
The scope offers a 21-65x magnification range, giving it a 3.1x zoom that should provide plenty of flexibility when moving between scanning a wider landscape and picking out smaller details at distance. Its 75mm objective lens is designed to maintain a bright image even at higher magnifications, while the HD optical system promises natural colours, strong contrast and clearly defined detail.
That large objective should also prove useful when conditions become less than ideal. Early mornings, woodland environments and the final light of the day are often where spotting scopes begin to show their limitations, so pairing a relatively lightweight body with a 75mm objective could make the AT Endura an interesting compromise between portability and light-gathering performance.
Swarovski Optik has also placed considerable emphasis on durability. The AT Endura has undergone shock, vibration, and drop testing, with its construction designed around the realities of spending long periods outdoors rather than simply delivering impressive specifications on paper.

Simplicity appears to be another important part of the design. Swarovski Optik describes the AT Endura as a straightforward set-up, focus, and observe scope, rather than something overloaded with unnecessary controls. That should make it approachable for anyone buying their first serious spotting scope, while still offering the magnification and optical performance experienced wildlife observers are likely to expect.
Perhaps the most significant part of the AT Endura story, however, is how Swarovski Optik has managed to bring the price down. The scope is engineered, constructed, and manufactured at the company’s facility in Absam, Austria, but uses newly developed and increasingly automated production processes to make manufacturing more efficient. That has allowed Swarovski Optik to introduce a made-in-Austria spotting scope with its HD optical system at a noticeably different price point from some of its flagship models, without moving production elsewhere or abandoning the company's premium positioning.
The Swarovski Optik AT Endura 21-65x75 weighs 1,510g, features a 75mm objective lens and 21-65x magnification, and will initially be available in green. It goes on sale through selected retailers and Swarovski Optik directly from October 6, 2026, with prices starting from $2,899 / £2,070.
