We're very excited to announce that one of the most requested features for the site is now live, as Digital Camera World's discussion forums have officially launched. You can visit them by clicking the Forums tab in the black navigation bar above, and when you sign up you have the chance to win a free Skylum software bundle!

Whether you want to comment on a story, you have a technical or hardware query, you're looking for gear recommendations (or you want to recommend gear of your own), or maybe you want to connect with like-minded photographers to chat to or even arrange shoots with, the DCW Forums are the place to have your say.

We have forums for all the main manufacturers, from Canon and Nikon to Leica and Pentax. We have forums for mirrorless, DSLR and analog photography discussion. We have forums for lighting, forums for landscapes, forums for drones, forums for videography, forums for editing, forums for showcasing images… if it's related to photography, we've probably got a forum for it!

There's a free copy Skylum software bundle up for grabs, so register for the forums and get posting!

You first port of call should be the DCW introductions thread, which gives you the lay of the land – here's where to find what you can expect from the forums, how you can interact, and of course it's the place to introduce yourself and welcome new members aboard as they join the voyage. You'll even see the DCW staff saying hello!

Maybe you feel strongly about one of our recent reviews. Perhaps you have an opinion on "Is editing cheating?" or you want to share your thoughts on "Whatever happened to Kodak?" You could even help answer a landscape question like "Aperture settings when fauna invade my flora?" or "Privacy issues during street photography?".

The forums are in their infancy but there's already some lively discussion taking place. We'd love you to get stuck in, starting topics and participating in threads – all of which will be carefully monitored, so you don't have to worry about trolls killing the mood.

We're also giving away a free Skylum software bundle to one lucky member of the Forum, consisting of Aurora HDR 2019, Photolemur 3 plus the Cinematic Color Looks pack. So register now to be in with a chance of winning, and become a founding member of the Digital Camera World community!
