Details about the upcoming Friends reunion are scarce, with only a tantalizingly short teaser video having been officially released. However, Matthew Perry has come to our rescue with a quick post-and-delete that was spotted by the Daily Mail last month.

Perry's behind the scenes photograph showed the actor sat in a makeup chair, with the caption reading, "Seconds before eating a makeup brush. Not to mention reuniting with my Friends".

According to the Daily Mail, this fun nod to the Friends reunion was swiftly deleted from his Instagram page (whether Perry decided to do this himself or was instructed to by a HBO executive remains to be seen!).

Matthew Perry's behind-the-scenes photograph wasn't the only exciting glimpse into the Friends reunion. Production designer Greg Grande also posted a sneak peek (which was also quickly deleted), showing an interesting amalgamation between the infamous fountains from the Friends opening credits and a plump sofa that seemingly references Central Perk's cosy setup.

How to watch the Friends reunion

If you're going to be in the US, then you're in luck! You can easily stream the Friends reunion episode by signing up to HBO Max. However, if you're in a different territory, then it's a slightly different story!

If you're in the UK, then there's talk that the Friends reunion episode will air on Sky. However, this is yet to be confirmed. Meanwhile, if you're in Australia, it seems likely that you'll be able to watch the episode with BINGE and Foxtel, which currently house all of HBO Max's content – although this also hasn't been confirmed.

If you usually live in the US, but you're going to be traveling out of the region when the Friends episode airs on 27 May, then you might want to consider investing in a VPN. The best VPN will enable you to virtually change your geographic location back home to the US, where you'll be able to watch the streaming service without having to navigate the geo-restrictions.

Not only can you save 49% on a yearly subscription, but you can also try it risk-free for 30 days. This offer gets you a VPN for $6.67 per month for the first year with three free additional months PLUS a free year's worth of Backblaze cloud storage.

If you travel a lot and you often find yourself out of the country when your favorite shows are airing, you might want to consider investing in one of the best VPNs. A 'Virtual Private Network' is the best way to get around any geographical restrictions – while also keeping your data safe as well.

If you've never used a VPN before, don't worry. Setting up a VPN is actually surprisingly simple. All you need to do is choose one of the best VPN services and install it on your device. Then, simply connect to an appropriate server – so, if you've travelled out of the UK, then you would choose a server located there. Once your VPN is up and running, all you need to do is go to the streaming service you need and log in as normal.
