A new photo exhibition offering an exclusive glimpse of life on the road with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds is open for viewing now.

Featuring images by independent freelance photographer Sharon Latham, A New World Blazing is a celebration of one of the world's most successful artists from behind the scenes to front of stage.

The first-ever exhibition to document Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, A New World Blazing features over 40 images taken by Sharon, all of which are fully endorsed by Noel himself.

Following its initial online premiere, where limited edition prints and special deluxe artworks were available to view and purchase, the gallery is free to view online through the summer.

“Down the years I’ve been lucky enough to work with some of the best photographers in the world and I would put Sharon right up there,” says Noel Gallagher.

“At its best a photograph should speak. What are the pictures saying? They are saying: we – NGHFB – have the best job in the world.

“To work, play, travel and party with these people is an absolute pleasure. I’m so happy that Big Shaz was there to capture these moments.”

For Sharon, working with Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds has been quite a journey. The pair first met when she was taking photos for Manchester City football club.

“The first interview that ‘Pep’ [Josep] Guardiola ever did was with Noel, and that was my last shoot before I left the club.

“I put my foot in the water and asked to go on a few gigs with Noel on tour and he said, ‘Yeah, Shaz – no problem’.

“When the 2018 tour started I asked if I could shoot a couple of gigs and he said ‘Yeah, come to America’. I was only supposed to be there for two weeks and it turned into four years.”

As seen in the small selection posted here, Sharon’s images of Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds certainly capture the band at their most dynamic and intimate.

But fans of the band can enjoy plenty more in A New World Blazing.

Get a taste of the show with a 360-degree virtual tour, plus an exclusive film narrated by radio and TV presenter Edith Bowman.

Says Edith: “This incredible exhibition, which really takes you on the road with Noel – you feel like you've been on stage with him and the band and behind the scenes as well – can be viewed or purchased online at Red House Originals.”
