The illustrious CEWE Photo Award is now open for entries, with over £200,000 in prizes available – including a one-of-a-kind trip worth £12,000, a total of £8,500 of photo equipment, and £5,000 of fantastic CEWE photo products.
The CEWE Photo Award (opens in new tab) is open to photographers of all levels, from enthusiastic amateurs to practicing professionals. There are 10 categories to enter, encompassing all aspects of the Earth's beauty:
• Food and Cooking
• People
• Architecture and Technology
• Nature
• Animals
• Landscapes
• Sport
• Travel and Culture
• Hobby and Leisure
• Aerial photos
There have already been some incredible entries, and you can see a sample of this year's photographs on this page. And for every entry received, CEWE will donate 10 cents to SOS Children’s Villages charity.
The photographs will be judged by a panel of industry experts, journalists and professional photographers – including, for the second time, leading British music photographer Christie Goodwin.
Entry is absolutely free, open to anyone aged 18 and over, and you can submit up to 100 of your own photographs. Entries close on 31 May 2021, so make sure you head to www.cewephotoaward.com (opens in new tab) before then to submit your images!
Now entering its fifth year, the CEWE Photo Award is the largest open photography competition in the world. It is a fitting celebration of the motto, "Our world is beautiful", which is embodied by the carbon-neutral process used at CEWE (opens in new tab) for printing its wide range of photographic products.
Celebrated items like the CEWE PHOTOBOOK (opens in new tab) are produced at its dedicated, sustainability certified photo printing lab in the United Kingdom. While based in the UK, the award-winning team services the global photographic industry – as evidenced by its TIPA Award for 'Best Photo Print Service Worldwide'.
From printing holiday snaps to wedding photo books, wall art to greetings cards and special gifts, experts at CEWE love printing memories almost as much as photographers love creating them.
