Panasonic has announced an online launch event for new GH series cameras, to be held online on 25 May at 10:00EDT / 14:00GMT / 00:00 (26 May) AEDT.
"We are pleased to announce that we will present new Lumix GH series cameras at an online launch event," wrote the manufacturer on its @lumixusa Instagram page. "The event will be held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at 10:00am EDT.

"We are committed to further enhancing the G Series lineup and performance of conventional Micro Four Thirds mirrorless cameras and lenses to meet the continuous demands of creators who value the strong advantage that only MFT can offer.
"More information will be updated in the future posts on the official @lumixusa Instagram Account until May 25, 2021."
For what it's worth, the hashtags #videography #cinematography both appeared before #photography in the post.
The same messaging (sans hashtags) also appeared on a scheduled Lumix Live stream page on the Lumix Cameras YouTube channel, which is where the announcement will take place. You can see the holding image for the video below.
It has been a while since Panasonic released its last GH series camera, and the market has moved on a great deal since then – as indeed has Panasonic itself, which has shifted a significant amount of its effort and resource into full-frame cameras such as the Panasonic S5 and Panasonic S1H.
With Micro Four Thirds feeling in need of a shot in the arm, the launch of new GH series cameras will be a welcome one indeed for fans of the format. We'll bring you all the news of Panasonic's announcement right here.
