Venus Optics has now made the Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift lens, the widest full-frame shift lens on the market, available for both Leica L and Pentax K mounts.
The new versions of the Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift lens will give Leica L-mount and Pentax K-mount users a relatively inexpensive lens for perspective correction, which is an essential tool for interior and architectural photography.

Initially only available in Canon EF and Nikon F mounts on its release late last year, the Laowa 15mm f4.5 Zero-D Shift lens gained Sony FE, Canon RF and Nikon Z mounts in February.
Although the Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift lens lacks weather sealing, electrical contacts or a tilt function, it delivers professional distortion-free results and is a worthy addition to any architectural or indoor photographer's toolkit.
The Laowa 15mm Shift lens has a 110° angle of view, and produces an enormous image circle with a 65mm diameter. This enables it to be used on medium format cameras as well as full-frame bodies, with the maximum possible vertical shift for the former being ±8mm and ±11mm for the latter.
In addition to being the world's widest full-frame shift lens, it is also currently the world’s widest lens covering a medium format GFX / Hasselblad sensor so is a formidable option for shooting architecture and interiors in super high resolution.
The release of a Pentax K-mount version of the Laowa 15mm f/4.5 Zero-D Shift lens is an encouraging sign for Pentax users that lens manufacturers are still supporting Pentax, after Sigma recently announced plans to end production of Pentax K-mount lenses.
