DJI to slash Spark Fly More Combo to £479 on Amazon Prime Day

Drone manufacturer DJI has confirmed that it will be celebrating Amazon Prime Day by offering a significant discount on its Spark Fly More Combo.

Available in Alpine White, Lava Red, and Sunrise Yellow options, right now, the kit retails at £579 in the UK, although this will drop to £479 during next week's event.

The DJI Spark is the company's most junior drone option, and is intended for those looking to crack their way into aerial imaging. Key features of include Full HD video recording, 12MP images and the option of capturing 360-degree images, together with a flight time of 16 minutes per charge. 

"Intelligent" features, meanwhile, such as QuickShot and ActiveTrack are on hand to help the user produce "cinematographic shots at the touch of just a few buttons."

While it's possible to buy the drone on its own, the Fly More Combo kit (above) includes a range of accessories designed to make flying and transportation easier, such as a remote controller, an additional battery, charging hub, extra propellers, and a shoulder bag.

While not without competitors such as Parrot and Yuneec, DJI has arguably become the most popular drone manufacturer in recent years, with a range of aerial imaging devices targeted towards photographers of all levels. Earlier this year, rival manufacturer GoPro announced that it would be withdrawing from the drone market following a troubled launch of its Karma model.

DJI's most recent release was the mid-range Mavic Air model, which blends features from the Mavic Pro inside a body close in size to that of the Spark.
