The Moto G 5G Plus has recently been announced, joining the Edge and Edge Plus as Motorola's latest 5G phone. However, the Moto G 5G Plus is all about bringing 5G technology to the market at an affordable price, starting at just €349 in Europe. While the Moto G 5G Plus will only run sub-6GHz 5G, not the superior speeds of mmWave, this will still make it one of the best 5G phones on a budget in Europe.
The Moto G 5G Plus will feature a 6.7" FHD+ display with a 90Hz refresh rate that's HDR 10 compliant and has a 21:9 aspect ratio. There's a fingerprint scanner that also serves as the power button on the right hand side of the phone and a headphone jack at the bottom.

In terms of the camera set-up, there's a quad camera unit on the back arranged as a square, featuring a 48MP main camera, an 8MP ultra wide camera, a 5MP macro camera and a 2MP time-of-flight camera. On the front of the phone there are two punch holes for a 16MP main camera and an 8MP ultra wide camera.
Inside the Moto G 5G Plus will be a Snapdragon 765G SoC and a 5,000 mAh battery that supports 20W fast wired charging. There will be two memory options for the phone, a 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage version for €349 and a 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage version for €399.
Unfortunately, the Moto G 5G Plus is only set to launch across Europe, with launches in Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates also planned. This means that if you live anywhere outside of these territories, then this affordable 5G handset won't be available to you. However, in good news for US customers, Motorola has said that it's “committing to launch a sub-$500 5G device in North America this fall".
