See the Fujifilm X-Pro3's shiny new design in these leaked sketches – but where's the D-pad??

We've been hearing a lot of noise about the Fujifilm X-Pro3 recently, so we're not surprised to see that a comprehensive set of sketches detailing the X-Pro3's design has been leaked. While the sketches are drawn roughly in pencil, they do seem to line up with what we're heard about the Fujifilm X-Pro3's design so far.
Leaked via rumor site Fuji Rumors, these drawings show that the front of the X-Pro3 remains fairly similar to the Fujifilm X-Pro2, with minimal adjustments to the design. However, the back of the camera is where the real changes have been made.
One fairly significant change is that there is no D-pad, but it does appear to have been replaced by a joystick instead. However, the biggest alteration to the Fujifilm X-Pro3 is its screen. Within where the LCD screen would usually sit will be a smaller E-ink-type display that will show your camera settings - just like the small top screen on other cameras would usually do.

However, this isn't the only screen the X-Pro3 houses. You can actually open up a second LCD screen behind the E-ink-type screen and flip it down. Not only will this protect the LCD screen from any errant knocks or scrapes, but it also means that you only need to worry about the LCD screen when you actually want to use it.
However, we do wonder how this design will hold up when photographers are actually using it. We can see this being a hit with purists due to its clean design, but how popular will this design really be with the average photographer? While we like the idea that you can just simply hide away the screen if you like, would it really have been that much harder to do a vari-angle screen design like the Panasonic GH5?
We're definitely interested to see how this particular flip screen design works in real life, but until the Fujifilm X-Pro3 is officially released you can check out the rest of the sketches of the leaked design below.
