Canon has announced that the much anticipated Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM, due to be released this month, has been postponed to March 2021 "due to production reasons" and insufficient supply.

Announced in November, the Canon RF 70-200mm f/4L IS USM promised to be a smaller and lighter version of the brilliant Canon RF 70-200mm f/2.8L IS USM trinity lens. Indeed, at just 119mm when collapsed and 695g in weight, it is the world’s shortest and lightest 70-200mm f/4 lens – and it the same size as a soda can.
