Photographing Waterdrops

Hi -
I have been looking at some photographs of water drops on flickr that I want to try my hand at.
You can see them here : http://www.flickr.com/photos/stuntbe...erdropsandmore

My question is : Did she use just plain water or is something added to it? And is it just an eye-dropper that has created the drops? Many people have asked but she doesnt seem to want to divulge the info.

Thanks

Karen

We could tell you, but then we would have to kill you I bet there is glycerin in the water or it is just glycerin.

I would bet that these were made with glycerin also. It does seem to help bind the water together...
Scale is also very important... it is possible that these drops are very small and the surface tension will then work better to great nice looking droplets...

Hi Donoreo, Chris,
Thanks for the replies. I bought some glycerine so will try it with and without water. I just wanted to try some alternative shots with them and experiment.
Thanks both
Karen
