You've given your model a very unusual pose , is there any reason for that ?

Very difficult to give feedback on fashion photography, for me anyway. In the first one your model is stooped, her shoulders slope forwards which looks really uncomfortable and a little unnatural, but again this is fashion not documentary. The 2nd photo has the model's head cropped off, is this intentional, does it add anything?

I'm guessing fashion photography is a bit like Marmite. You either love or hate. These photos appear to have divided opinion. Like JonnyM is difficult for me to give an informed opinion as Im not into fashion photography, so. Maybe I'm missing the point.

The first photo has an awkward and uncomfortable looking pose! The second one looks more natural but the right arm looks as though it is hanging a bit awkwardly.

The lighting is another issue but I can't really comment as I don't know if this is right for fashion photography??
These are just my thoughts. And like I said, I may be missing something.

I've just noticed that you've commented on your own photos.
Is it normal to make such a comment about your own photos?????

its already been said that #1 the model looks awkward and i think #2 is still that way to me. your lighting is dark and to me it should be vibrant so you can see the model and what she is modelling.but theses are my observations.

I think Joseph Chen is referring to the other postings...or not I sometimes look at the fashion pages in magazines and these 2 photos wouldn't look out of place that's why it's difficult for me to comment over and above my own experience, and maybe I overlook the content over the style. He's not selling me anything with these photos per se just a stylised image.

Sorry for the delay in getting back to you but I think just about everyone else has answered that now , my original question still stands did you stage the pose for a reason or is it something that happened by chance .
