Question Filter Holders

Just getting into filters...
Was lucky to get a Formatt Hitech filter kit [100mm Master ND Kit] for Christmas, however I don’t have a filter holder yet.

Currently just have Nikkor 50mm and 80-400mm lenses but am looking at getting a Tokina 11-16mm so thinking of investing in a wide-angle 77mm adapter.

Q1) Will Hitech filters fit into a Lee holder?
Q2) Which filter holder would recommend HiTech or Lee?

Cheers
G

Nice Xmas present, yes the 100mm hitech filters will fit into a Lee filter holder.

The Lee filter holder system is better than the hitech solution, it feels more solid and is quicker/easier to use. You would need to get a Lee foundation kit and an adaptor ring of your choice in your case the 77mm wideangle. The foundation kit is about £54 and the adaptor ring £37 so quite an initial outlay!
