What advantages do Canon 7D cameras have over 5D's?

Hi.I'm thinking of improving my YouTube music videos and have heard about 7D's and 5D'S.
I noticed that there is a 5D camera with 21 megapixels. But for video recording,what would you buy,a 7D with 18 megapixels or one of these 5D models.
I thought that maybe the 7D would be better for making professional looking videos. Is that true?

i would say the 5d is a better choice for video being full frame

when you say "professional looking videos" what do you mean by that ?

some say because of the full frame sensor on a 5d and the variety of fast lenses the shallow depth of field that can be achieved throwing the background out of focus is what gives the 5d the professional look
obviously the actual quality of the footage is up there with professional video cameras but at the end of the day it is a still camera with video capabilities

unfortunately some of this will be lost on youtube because of the high compression method used for youtube videos

if your not shooting wildlife or sports and the high frame rate of the 7d isn't that important then a 5d mk2 is for you because it beats the 7d in every other way
then there's the 5d mk3 that beats the 7d in every way

apart from the price

it's your money but if you have the money to spend it would be a 5d mk3
if your budget is a bit tighter the 5d mk2
