I did look at the small area of tree at the top and decided to leave it. But I think you're right, it'd be better if it wasn't there.
It was a night shot so I wouldn't really want it any lighter. Thanks for your comments.

I really like the lighting , the atmosphere that it gives helps to make the image stand out and the contrast between the light trees and star trails really works well .
I think I would clone out the leaves at the top too because they seem a bit too much of a distraction .

I'd like to see a larger image size but I know there's problems with uploading images to the site at the moment , I've been trying all morning with no luck .
