It was a draw between me and Cutter. I dont really know how u will choose the winner. But if some how I'll win I want ask u guys for big favour.
If that not will be a problem I want to ask cutter to choose and post the subject for new weekend competition because I'll dont have time to sort it out.
Im going to work now and I'll finish around midnight. Even if I'll win I not gonna have chance to post subject with new competition.
I'm verry sorry for that and hope is not the problem for anyone.
Congratulations the joint winners. Both appropriate for the time of year.
Up: 'As Cold As Ice' by DigiDiva.
A well thought out and fairly unusual subject for Winter which is good, the fact that it is melting due to all the central heating is a nice touch too.
Down: 'Frozen Jewels' by Alex Harrison.
A good detailed close-up conveying the recent cold snap we had. On theme. However, there is a distracting out of focus blade of grass in the foreground which makes me feel like I'm going to poke my eye out!
congratulations to both the winners thanks for my votes donoreo and kerbside. apologies for my 'eye-poking' blade of grass lol
UP: unfeeling. great take on the theme, i liked the positioning of the people and the lack of eye contact. really makes me wonder what happened before the shot. good work.
DOWN: COLDplay disk. I liked the selective focus (and spent a while trying to work out what your other CDs were!) and a cheeky variation on the theme. good work.
