hi, first post so here goes i'm posting one of my fav shots - how can i improve this in pp. Thanks and hello to everyone here.

A little boost in contrast in the sky might help add a bit more drama to the scene or a flick around with the burn tool to darken the shadows would have the same effect , other than that I don't think it needs too much playing around with .

When I first looked at your image I thought the tree would be better on the other side so that it would lean into the shot but the more I look at it the more I like the unusual composition .

A dramatic landscape nicely executed and it really feels to me as if the tree is trying to pull itself back into the frame, it doesn't want to be blown out of shot and from the viewer's eye! Good side lighting but there is a lack of contrast and separation between the body of the tree and the clouds. Perhaps more contrast could be obtained through the black and white conversion process. Only a small observation, the tree is cropped too much on the right and is it possible to see more of the deep tree shadow as an alternative? A nice shot.

I really like the composition but feel the sky could benefit from some dodge and burn. A little boosting to the light too and the shot would be amazing. Love the tree.

Overall adjusting brightness and contrast would help this considerably. Ed.

Fantastic shot Woody, id have been tempted to shoot the tree to the left of the picture but this works even better. The only thing I would change as has been said already would to give the clouds a little more definition by darkening them slightly. That been said there really isnt anything I would fault with it
